Khalid and Normani Kordei are joining forces on a collaboration for the Love, Simon soundtrack.

Executive produced by Jack Antonoff, the soundtrack to the 20th Century Fox film will feature their duet “Love Lies.” It will also include classics like Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)” and the Jackson 5’s “Someday at Christmas.”

The coming-of-age film, which arrives the same day as the soundtrack on March 16, stars Nick Robinson, Katherine Langford, Jennifer Garner, and Josh Duhamel, among others.

Khalid and Normani have been teasing a collaboration since August. “I’m excited,” Khalid said at the time. “We haven’t started yet, but we’ve gone over ideas. It’s gonna be great. Whatever happens, it’s gonna be amazing. She’s a beautiful person. She’s a great friend. I’m really excited to work with her…It’s collaborative on both ends. We’re talking. We’re like, ‘What message should we make with this music?’ Whatever we do, it’s gonna be awesome.”

The Fifth Harmony songstress also stars alongside Khalid in the video for “Young Dumb & Broke.” “Khalid is such an important artist and a great friend,” said Normani. “He has something unique and special that only he can offer creatively. Excited to see what lies ahead when we connect in the studio.”
