It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from singer Lauriana Mae, but the New Jersey native has finally returned with a sexy new single.
Teaming up with hitmaker Jack Splash on the production, and buzzing singer/rapper Dreezy, the trio deliver some super smooth and breezy vibes with “LOL.” Calling out those people that have thrown shade or ill feelings her way, Mae sings: “I almost feel bad for you, then I think about the shit that you did / And I almost feel bad, but almost doesn’t count so I’m laughing out loud like…hahaha.”
“”LOL” is about them fake people that take your kindness for weakness and your silence for stupidity. I just seen a lot of that these past few years. Takes so much strength to love yourself more than they hate you some days. All I wanna do is be happy but some people don’t like that,” she explained to Noisey.
The Atlantic Records signee is prepping for the release of a new mixtape titled, Can’t Go Back.
