Toni Braxton’s forthcoming comeback album on Atlantic Records, Pulse is being pushed back again. It was most recently scheduled for March 2nd, it is now expected to see a May 4th release. This has got to be frustrating for Toni. Atlantic is notorious for stalling albums until they feel it has the buzz they think it needs. Even if they have to push another single after the first single is already doing well. We know this means they often don’t release albums at their highest point of buzz. In Toni’s case I can understand the push, but how much will they really put into the budget to get the buzz to that point which they feel is the time. The album, which is the follow-up to “Libra,” will feature productions and songwriting contributions from Soulshock & Karlin, Claude Kelly, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, Makeba Riddick, Chuck Harmony and Ne-Yo. Stay tuned.
