For our second installment of the Weekly Throwback we wanted to pay tribute to Keith Sweat. He has a new album titled, Ridin’ Solo slated to drop this June, and it’s great to see he is still working after 20+ years in the business. Keith’s debut album, Make It Last Forever was a international smash, and one of the most successful “New Jack Swing” styled albums. It spawned a few hit singles, but the first and most successful was the Teddy Riley produced “I Want Her”. It reached #1 on Billboard’s R&B Chart, and #5 on the Hot 100 chart.
