Time to pop some bottles. Jamie Foxx is ready to celebrate. The triple threat talent has announced a new title and release date for his fourth studio album.
The new LP, previously named Body, will now be entitled Best Night of My Life. It is now due in stores December 21st. The forthcoming set is preceded by singles “Fall for Your Type” featuring Drake and the Rick Ross assisted “Living Better Now,” as well as last seasons NBA Playoffs anthem “Winner,” co-starring Justin Timberlake and T.I. In his recent visit to the Lopez Tonight show Jamie performed previews of some new songs off the project. Watch Here.
This release date seems way too soon. The two recent singles were just released and have not received much attention from radio, or created a strong buzz for the album. On top of that, December 21st will also see the release of some other major albums from Keri Hilson, Keyshia Cole and Avant. If they are serious about sticking to this date, they will have to shell out some heavy marketing dollars for this project to land in everyone’s stocking this holiday season.
Wow, Avant’s album is released December 21st? It’s leaked over a month ahead of time!
Glad he changed the title from Body, looking forward to the album :)
