John Legend travels back to his hometown in Springfield, OH for inspiration on the making of “Shine” from his latest album with The Roots. “Shine” was inspired by the documentary about the education system in America “Waiting for Superman,” directed by Davis Guggenheim. “Shine” has been nominated for 2 GRAMMYS! Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group With Vocals and Best R&B Song.
