For the first time, Kelly Rowland is doing better than Beyonce on the charts..nice!! See, all these artists tryna adopt a foreign sound to pull in the international audience are all delusional and Beyonce is one of them. Kelly Rowland tried it and she barely existed with that sound even out there in Europe.Usher fell in the same boat too and to his chagrin, he saw meagre sales and abd reviews of his shows and album. In the first place, they dont know you for doing their sound-the international audience loves you for doing you, which is R’n’B/Pop music, so stick with it. Another case study is Chris Brown, he tried the pop/ european techno and it didnt work but when he went back to his R’n’B roots, giving us “Dueces and No Bullshit”, he soared to the top of the charts. The moral of the story is dont forget what you are known for, your roots and how you started coz thats what we fell in love with the first time!!!!
