UPDATED WITH FULL VERSION
DJ Khaled aims for “Legendary” status on his first ever full R&B record. Something I always thought should be created, but a full compilation album. Chris Brown leads the pack on the empowering, synth heavy track, followed by Keyshia Cole and Ne-Yo, which is off his star-studded album We The Best Forever, dropping July 19. Preview a snippet of the track below, and stay tuned! UPDATE: Here is the official, full version.
This song is incredibly WACK! I mean, wow…I’m almost speechless about it. The only “good” part was Ne-Yo…Keyshia Cole sounds terrible and Chris Brown was just unremarkable. I commend DJ Khaled for doing an all R&B album but I’m not really looking forward to the rest of it if this is the first and possibly “best” single on it. And I surely don’t want to hear him screaming “WE THE BEST!” all throughout the album either…UGH! #Garbage
Khaled isn’t doing a whole R&B album, just this one track off his new album. I would like that to happen though, but not created by him, unless he promised not to talk over the tracks.
Khaled need to stop talking on the track and let the real artists create magic!!! That is all!
@Wexx: The very first sentence in this article says, “DJ Khaled aims for ‘Legendary’ status on his first ever full R&B record.” so now I’m confused…is he or isn’t he making a full R&B album??? I mean, I like the idea behind it but I’d rather anybody but Khaled do it because I don’t like anything he does…dude talks too much! And he himself is wack! You want to hear a good DJ/R&B collab? Check out DJ Jazzy Jeff and Ayah “Back For More”…THAT’S worth listening to.
@Wexx: Nevermind…I was interchanging the words “record” and “album”…I know the difference. Regardless though…this song is wack, lol. I’m sad that this is the best they thought they could do for a first R&B single…
