R&B songstress Brandy, 32, has signed on as the latest artist to RCA Records, joining the growing all-star roster which includes Chris Brown, Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, R. Kelly, Ke$ha, Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson and Justin Timberlake to name a few.
The deal returns her to the Sony Music fold, as this is a joint venture between RCA and producer Breyon Prescott’s Chameleon Records. Her next studio album is tentatively slated for an early 2012 release.

“Throughout her career, Brandy has consistently won the vote as everyone’s favorite female vocalist,” Peter Edge, chief executive of RCA Music Group, said in a statement. “I am sure that in her next chapter at RCA and in partnership with Breyon Prescott, we will record her most exciting music to date”.
