Looks like John Legend will go off the market for all you ladies out there, as the R&B crooner is getting ready to walk down the aisle himself. John got engaged to his longtime girlfriend, model Christine Teigen over the holidays while vacationing in the Maldives, Legend’s publicist, Cindi Berger, told PEOPLE.
Legend, 32, took to Twitter to thank his fans for their congratulatory messages. “Thanks for all the well wishes everybody,” he wrote, while Teigen, 26, joked, “He went to Jared.” How sweet.
Before they tie the knot, the couple will celebrate the new year in Las Vegas. Legend has a show at The Pearl at the Palms on New Year’s Eve.
