R&B breakout sensation The Weeknd took to Twitter on Christmas Day to announce that following last weeks release of his third mixtape, “Echoes of Silence,” he is preparing a commercial release of his three projects as part of his ‘Balloon Trilogy’ in 2012.
He tweeted, “I cant wait to re-release The Trilogy as a package, re-mastered for you to collect with bonus features#2012.”
Although it has not been confirmed, it has been suggested that Abel will select a number of songs from “House of Balloons,” “Thursday,” and “Echoes of Silence,” re-master them, and possibly add a guest or two to the songs as well. He also may choose to re-master and re-release all three projects as one full, deluxe package.
Currently, there is no official date for the release of The Trilogy. But, stay tuned!
