Underrated R&B crooner BJ The Chicago Kid has unleashed a very soulful new track titled “His Pain,” which is off his upcoming project Pineapple Now-Laters. The Sounwave produced gem, layed with soft keys and a ridin bass line, was originally supposed to be featured on Kendrick Lamar’s critically acclaimed LP Section.80. Makes sense as Kendrick handles the first 2 and a half mins of the song, prior to BJ singing his gospel. Take a listen below.
This brotha has vocals. Would love 2 hear more BJTCK than Kdot on this track, imma a fan of both but couldve used a bit more of the sexy crooners soul on this joint.
