Check out the latest visual release from Brooklyn-bred , J.Reneé titled, “Lames.” The up-and-coming songstress also happens to be the headlining singer for the Hall Pass Tour which travels to inner city schools promoting college. “I wrote it in about 30 minutes during a time of utter disgust with all the things that were going on around me. I got to thinking… I’m a singer. Most people connect singers’ ballads with romantic content, but there’s no rule saying I can’t talk about how I feel in this moment and deliver it in that way. So I did.”
