After the false (and laughable) album title that was reported a few weeks ago by CNN, seven–time Grammy Award winning singer and actor Usher has now announced the Official title of his seventh studio album … and … release date!
According to RCA, the LP will be titled “Looking For Myself,” and is scheduled to be released on June 12 via RCA Records. It is lead by the Diplo produced smash single “Climax,” and is expected to boast collaborations with the likes of Salaam Remi, Rico Love, Jim Jonsin, Pharrell, Max Martin and the UK’s own Labrinth.
Recently speaking on the album, Usher said “Climax” is the beginning of the albums experience, and it’s a little bit different, but at the same time maybe reminiscent of what you’ve heard and felt before. This is it… if I had to give it a name… it would be relevant music… it would be electro-soul.”
LOOKING FOR MYSELF will be available in both standard and deluxe editions, available for pre-order now at select retailers.
