Yes, it is pure Pop, but Jay still claims his new album has a lot of “real” R&B, or his version of it … His last mixtape “The Mistress” did have some decent cuts, so we won’t totally dismiss that just yet. After a few listens, it’s grown on me. When I see a song featuring Pitbull, it’s like uggggggh…. LOL. I agree that “The Mistress” was definitely a step in the right direction for that R&B feel, but I wish he did more with it. It had a few standout tracks.
