In honor of Mother’s Day on Sunday, Trey Songz & his mother, April Tucker called in to Power 99’s Morning Show with Uncle O, Mina SayWhat, Mikey Dredd & Muthaknows. They spoke about what Trey’s doing for Mother’s Day, his nickname name, their “Angels With Hearts” charity, upcoming Chapter V album and dating African women.
Trey’s new album Chapter 5 is due out mid-summer featuring some big names. “I got a record with Tip on there [‘2 Reasons’],” said Trigga. “Shout out to [Lil] Wayne, Big Sean, J. Cole, Kelly Rowland as well. A lot of great features thus far and I’m still recording.”
I didn’t like the jokes the guy was making about African Girls it was very ignorant and really not fun.
I totally agree! Those comments are especially sad coming from an African American brother. Instead of mocking one another, we need to realize that 1. We are the SAME people, we all come from the same place and 2. We need to be focusing on ways in which we can build ourselves up as a race and not tear each other down.
I just wish that African Americans did not posses the sometimes ignorant quality and vibe that they are sending off.
African American AND African girls are GORGEOUS!
And P.S: Trey has already BEEN with an African girl (Ethiopian) in the past in a long-term relationship and she is very beautiful and intelligent.
