Kelly Rowland is coming back faster than you expected. Along with her new remake of the dance hit “Summer Dreaming” for Bacardi, the R&B Pop star is looking to keep the Summer hot in a cool way. Hoping to follow the success of her chart-topping single “Motivation,” the Destiny’s Child diva is reuniting with Lil Wayne for “Ice.”
Their collaboration, which is expected to debut today, was helmed by Sean Garrett. “I feel really excited about this single and Kelly’s new album!” the hitmaker told Rap-Up. “Wayne is a movie and Kelly Rowland is as sexy as ever!”
Kelly tweeted some of the song’s lyrics. “Your lovin’ be givin’ me chills, you’re like ice,” she wrote, adding part of Weezy’s verse. “Ice, ice baby, shake that thing just like dice baby.”
In related news Kelly will star on the Australian TV show “Everybody Dance Now,” and is putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to 2011’s Here I Am. “It’s a very urban, R&B, sexy, unexpected record on this next album,” Kelly told Unravel Travel TV. “It’s gonna make you think. It’s gonna make you wonder.”
