Mariah Carey seems to be the latest artist lending her god given talents to President Barack Obama’s 2012 campaign. Without being commissioned, the diva has written a ballad dedicated to the president as a sign of support. She debuted the song titled, “Bring It On Home” during a special fundraiser at New York City’s Plaza Hotel last week.
She tweeted a portion of the lyrics from the inspirational song, “Strength is what we need and love keeps us alive…”
The event was one of two campaign fundraisers held in New York aimed to raise $5 million for the president. Grammy winning singer Alicia Keys also spoke during the gala.
Carey is currently in the studio recording material for her fourteen studio album, which could possibly be released later this year.
