Fresh from his show at London’s HMV Hammersmith Apollo on Monday, Usher hit up Maida Vale studios to perform a BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge session. According to reports the R&B superstar gave a spine-tingling performance of “Climax,” the lead single from his new album Looking 4 Myself (in stores now). Usher was accompanied by a full house band to sing an acoustic version of the Diplo-produced track.
The singer then performed a surprising cover of indie band Foster The People’s breakout hit “Pumped Up Kicks.” The cover seemed to go down well with fans who took to Twitter to gush about Usher’s vocals. Check out the rare performance below…
