Two of music’s brightest, multi-talented stars will be joining forces and hitting the big screen in the near future. Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks have signed on to star in the George Tillman Jr-directed film, The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister And Pete.
According to Deadline, the Alicia Keys produced film, recently recruited J-Hud to the cast which already included Sparks, along with Jeffrey Wright and Anthony Mackie. The Michael Starrbury wrote script, follows two inner-city youths left to fend for themselves over the summer after their mothers are taken away by the authorities.
Production began this past Monday in Brooklyn.
Looks like another film to look forward to, most likely in 2013.
