New Music: Michael Jackson – Al Capone

By

It is certainly crazy rare to hear any unreleased Michael Jackson, so with the forthcoming release of the “BAD 25” anniversary album around the corner, anticipation has been building. Prior to the album hitting stores on September 18, we are treated to one of the unreleased cuts titled “Al Capone.”

However, while this cut is unique and bares reference to the 1920’s gangster, it is not a song that never saw the light of day, in fact it is actually an early version of Michael’s hit single “Smooth Criminal.”

Take a listen to the rare treat below… What do you think??

You can tell it’s definitely an original concept because of it’s rough reference points in vocal pitche and melody. This is history in the making right here.
