We first featured emerging singer SZA, with her song “Country,” from this past August. There was something seductively attractive from her subdued, but emotional vocal. Well, just in time for cuddle season the songstress has released her debut EP, titled See.SZA.Run. A collection of laid back, trancy, intertwined soulful tracks.
Each song leaves an indelible trace. Her lyrics probe through the corners of our psyche, saying everything we feel yet sometimes hesitate to express. It’s SZA’s relatable narratives and filling voice backed by deep, lush production that make this such a precious project.
