Alicia Keys continues her journey to a Girl on Fire, sharing some official behind the scenes footage of the video shoot for her lead single and title track. The colorful, spectacularly lit visual paid homage to all woman, showing everyday duties are an accomplishment.
“We decided to show me actually doing very everyday things,” explained the Grammy winner. “It doesn’t matter if you’re rich, if you’re poor, where you are from, or what religion you believe in… When you’re a woman there are certain things you do all the time… there’s just certain things that every woman can relate to no matter what. So those are things that we wanted to display and show.”

I love Alicia Keys and her music but I’m beginning to wonder about how big of a fan I really am. Others I’m sure do not have a problem with vulgarity spoken in public but for some reason, I do. I know Alicia is just being herself, I mean who she really is, but to advertise vulgar words in perfect doesn’t show much respect for others. Sure if one wants to talk that way around the ones they love and see all the time, fine but I just don’t think everyone should be exposed to it. To me it’s just not something to advertise in public and especially not by a celebrity. I know it’s considered standard to most people but I’m just not feeling the language.
