Ne-Yo has had a very busy release week, and he continued with his televised performances Wednesday night, hitting the stage of ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’. We’ve seen the R&B star perform his hit pop single “Let Me Love You” on numerous stages already, so it was a nice change to see Ne-Yo finally deliver the first televised performance of “Don’t Make ‘Em Like You,” which features Wiz Khalifa, as well.
The 33-year old’s new album R.E.D. debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard chart, moving 66,000 copies in it’s first week. Though not an impressive number, it doesn’t bother him as he is still thankful to those that supported. “Some may see failure in this. I don’t,” he shared. “I see that I now have 5 top 10 albums, I see that 66,000 people cared enough to drop everything and go get it first week, I see the great reviews the album is getting from critics and fans alike. Where some may choose to see failure, I choose to see more reasons to be grateful. Thank you.”
