Latasha Lee is a singer-songwriter from Corpus Christi, Texas with a gritty, soulful, classic sound, that transports you back to the days when many of your favorite artists thrived. Incorporating her influences of the past, such as Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke, Etta James and more, Latasha looks to stay true to the sound she loves, while expanding on it with her own experiences. With the song and video, “Win Her Heart” I immediately thought of the late great Amy Winehouse as well, but whatever the comparisons it’s just plain good soul and blues, accompanied by a great scene in the simplistic visual. Oh, this is one of the girls from this year’s X Factor! But, yeah I thought this was Amy’s “He Can Only Hold Her” for a moment.
