Chrisette Michele was scheduled to perform a show in New York City’s Times Square on Tuesday night, but the concert had to be cancelled due to the soul singer having to be hospitalized. A source told Singersroom that Chrisette is suffering from a ruptured appendix.
The “Couple of Forevers” singer has been announced as the supporting act for Keyshia Cole’s “Woman to Woman Tour,” which kicks off on March 28 in Westbury, New York. Chrisette’s upcoming album Better is currently due April 30.
