Jennifer Hudson is getting back to the music. Following her performances at the Inaugural Ball, the Super Bowl and now starring on NBC’s “Smash,” the Oscar/Grammy winner is back in the studio. J-Hud was back in the lab on Monday, beginning work on her third album. She tweeted photos of herself in the studio with producer Salaam Remi.
“Ok ! Here we go guys! First day of recording my album!! @Salaamremi is everything !!” tweeted Jenn, later adding, “I had the best day in the studio with @salaamremi! He let me be me!”
Legendary music executive Clive Davis recently told Billboard he is working on Hudson’s new album, “I’ll be meeting with our great songwriters in that time honored tradition because she is an enormous talent. And we’re looking to find more signature songs for her.”
