The infamous Clive Davis pre-Grammy party went down on Saturday night. While a bittersweet time for many, remembering the tragic loss of Whitney Houston a year ago, many of R&B’s biggest stars were in attendance and helped honor music executive Antonio “L.A.” Reid.
Usher, Ne-Yo, Babyface, Miguel, Jennifer Hudson, Tyrese and more all celebrated the career of one of music’s most successful producers and businessmen.
Usher surprised the room as the “Confessions” singer made a confession of his own: “It was L.A. Reid that talked me out of the (stage) name Cha-Cha,” he shared.
