All the fame and fortune isn’t always worth the personal strain the spotlight can have on an artist. Chris Brown knows this very well as he yearns for “Home” in the newly released video for his new song, which is the second new release we’ve heard from the Pop R&B star leading toward his upcoming sixth album. Chris documents his travels around the world, playing shows for screaming fans, dancing, and partying with his friends, while reflecting on his journey.
“Wish I could go back to when I was young/ Wish I could go back from where I came from,” sings Breezy on the introspective record.
During an interview on the red carpet at the Grammys, Brown told Ryan Seacrest that he would like to see ‘real-music’ make a comeback, “A lot of the music nowadays, I love it, but it’s very gimmicky. Even some of my music is gimmicky,” he shared. “I just want to go back to the real music—a lot of instruments, the real band, essence of being able to perform and be an entertainer.”
