As the world awaits her new music, Beyoncé continues her foray into film, but this time it’s off camera. The “Run The World” singer will be ruling the world of 20th Century Fox’s upcoming animated film ‘Epic,’ lending her voice for the character of Queen Tara.
“I’ve always imagined being in an animated film. I’ve always wanted to be a queen,” said Bey. “Queen Tara is very important in Epic. She’s preserved the beauty of her natural world and the safety of her people.”
The fantasy-adventure film, which co-stars Amanda Seyfried, Colin Farrell, and Aziz Ansari, follows the battle between good and evil in the forest. “Everything in this movie is big—the action, the characters. This is one time where the film really lives up to its title,” explained Beyoncé.
