Roots drummer ?uestlove revealed a big secret late last week, claiming that Justin Timberlake would be releasing a second part to ‘The 20/20 Experience‘ around the holidays. Well, the rumors are true, and JT has confirmed that there is indeed a sequel to the album.
On the eve of LP’s release, the pop superstar decided to make the official announcement during his iHeartRadio album release show at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday night.
“I gotta clear a rumor up. This whole thing about this being the first half of the album is true,” he told Ryan Seacrest. While remaining coy about a release date, “There is another half. I’m not telling you when it comes out.”
?uestlove previously said that the project would drop in November with 10 new songs, “spoiler alert. 20/20 Vol 2 comes out in nov. (10 songs now…..10 songs later= 20 vision),” he wrote in a forum post.
This should be interesting… The 20/20 Experience hits stores at midnight tonight.
