The highly anticipated comeback of Justin Timberlake is proving to be well worth the wait. The Pop stars new album The 20/20 Experience received early projections of half a million copies, and now all reports are pointing to sales approaching 900,000 copies, and possibly reaching a million by next week.

According to Billboard, Timberlake’s first album in over six years is on track to sell between 850,000 and 900,000 copies in its opening week. There is already talk that 20/20 could top 900k if it performs strongly over the weekend.

Justin’s “Legends of the Summer” tourmate Jay-Z was already popping champagne. “JT x 1 million? Getting my ‘Suit and Tie’ ready for the celebration,” tweeted Hov.

“Is that the D’USSE talking? Haha! You’re out of your mind, Hov!” responded a humble J.T.

The blockbuster sales will easily give him the best-selling album of the year so far and the best-ever sales week of his solo career. His previous album, 2006′s FutureSex/LoveSounds, entered at No. 1 with 684,000.
