Eric Benet‘s latest single “News For You” has been peaking in the top 5 of the Urban AC charts, so to give it an added boast the R&B vet has recruited 2 Chainz to drop a verse for the official remix. An unlikely pairing, but EB also did a cut with Lil’ Wayne recently, so he knows who to hit up when he’s looking for the right rap feature. The original version of the jazzy single can be heard on Eric’s stellar album The One, in stores now.

i love eric and the new beat and flow to the song is alright but I couldn’t bear to listen to 2 Chainz ruin the song. Same with redbone girl which was a disaster shouldn’t have been on the album and i’m glad this version wasn’t.
I like this version too it has a different twist I dig it.
