Jhené Aiko is back with her second release of the new year. She premieres her new song and accompanying music video for “Burning Man (3:16pm).” The visual captures Jhené and friends just enjoying life, relaxing and having fun while spending a night at the beach. The clip also includes some performance footage from one of her recent shows while on tour with Nas & Lauryn Hill.
If the title doesn’t do it, the opening line of the record sets the mood for all the smokers who already enjoy themselves some smooth Jhené vocals. The L.A. native is finalizing her debut album, Souled Out, which is due out later this year, via producer No I.D.’s imprint Artrium/Island Def Jam.

This record is actually the follow-up to Jhene’s much darker buzz single from last year, “3:16 AM.” The singer-songwriter recently spoke to us about that song being chosen as the first release from her upcoming album, and she shared details on the making of and inspiration behind the very creepy, almost morbid music video.
