Emerging artist SZA (Solana Rowe), who we have following since her 2012 debut of “Country” has slowly became one of my favorite new Alt-R&B/Soul acts. The New Jersey native wastes no time releasing more free music to the world with her brand new EP, simply titled “S.”
The dreamy 8-track project includes the buzz worthy “Aftermath,” and is the first of three projects she’ll release over the next few months, following up with Z and A.
“My goal with my music is to reach ultimate independence,” she says. “I do music because I want to shape me the way I want to shape me. I don’t wanna feel like I’m a product of society and tell me who I am and what I’m doing. I can literally architect my own life.”
