Robin Thicke made the radio rounds in NYC this week, along with Hot97 he stopped by Power 105 for an interview with ‘The Breakfast Club.’ The soulful singer spoke about similar topics as the success of his new single “Blurred Lines” with T.I. and Pharrell, and how his wife Paula Patton reacted to the provocative music video. He talked in further detail about the short film he wrote about the health care industry and the effect it has on many Americans who have lost all their money paying medical bills.
Robin addressed comparisons to Justin Timberlake, citing that he understands them based on certain similarities, but it doesn’t effect him because he feels there is truly enough room for both, specifically for the fact that they have different audiences. He talked further about singing at Michael Jordan’s wedding, and how the icon is a big fan of his and personally picked 4 non-hits for him to sing and Michael and his bride were singing along to every word. Further into the interview he finally announces the title for his sixth album is officially ‘Blurred Lines,’ and he explains why.
