Ashanti made some television rounds this week in promotion of her role on “Army Wives” and upcoming album BraveHeart. Following appearances on “The Chew” and the “Today” show, the R&B songstress visited “Marie” on the Hallmark Channel to discuss her international touring plans and running her independent label, Written Entertainment.
“It’s a lot of work, but it’s a wonderful thing,” she told Marie Osmond. “It’s a wonderful experience to have your hands all over your own project.”
She also performed her new single “Never Should Have” for the first time on television. In addition Ashanti stopped by Hot 97 for a new interview with Ebro and K. Foxx. She spoke about speaking with Ja Rule since he was released from prison, and the possibility of them making new music together. She danced around questions about Nelly, and having kids, plus what she is trying to really do during her trips to Dubai. She also spoke about her forthcoming album Braveheart, which is currently slated to be released on July 30, and her role on Army Wives.
