K. Michelle shares the journey to her Highline Ballroom concert in the latest episode of her web series. The R&B songstress rehearses for her big show in New York, where she will perform in front of fans, record label execs, and her family.
“I take a lot of time when it comes to creating. I take even more time when it comes to hitting the stage,” she says.
Before showtime, she examines herself in the mirror, asking, “Does my butt look little?” to which someone responds, “No, it looks classy. It looks very nice.”
Fans line up around the block as she gets glammed up. Following an introduction from Angela Yee and Charlamagne Tha God, she hits the stage and performs her hits including her new single “V.S.O.P.”
Backstage she meets up with friends including Elle Varner, who has nothing but great things to say.
