Justin Timberlake & Jay-Z bared the blistering temperatures Friday night in New York to perform their first of two sold-out shows at Yankee Stadium on the “Legends of the Summer” Tour.
As the duo have practiced and previously performed “Empire State of Mind,” JT opened the song with a rendition of Frank Sinatra’s classic “New York, New York,” Jay came out to a roaring applause from the audience, but he really sent the crowd into a frenzy with a surprise when Alicia Keys hit the stage to sing the now iconic chorus.
