Ron Isley will be releasing his second solo album ‘This Song Is For You‘ tomorrow July 16. The legendary singer has now released the LP’s official second single titled, “My Favorite Thing.”
The classic feeling, smooth love song, which follows the album’s lead single, “Dinner and a Movie,” features R&B crooner, KEM.
“Kem wrote and produced this song. We recorded it in Detroit, in the same studio I recorded a song with Aretha Franklin,” Isley told Billboard. “I had a great time working with Kem. I’ve been a big fan of his music and was really looking forward to recording this song. He’s so talented and a great artist. I know he’ll be around for a very long time.”
The 13-song effort also features Trey Songz. Isley is set to hit the road for a summer tour. Kem and Frankie Beverly will be supporting acts; dates will be announced soon.
