While Chris Brown was rocking the plaza on “Today,” Alicia Keys heated up Central Park for the “Good Morning America” Summer Concert Series. The Grammy-winning R&B star debuted a new cropped hairdo while singing her Girl on Fire hits. One year after releasing the single, she performed the title track and surprised her hometown fans by bringing out Maxwell to duet on “Fire We Make.”
She sat down at the piano for “Listen to Your Heart,” closing things out with “No One.”
Alicia will bring her “Set the World on Fire” tour to Latin America next month, and is an executive producer of the upcoming movie The Inevitable Defeat of Mister and Pete, co-starring Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks, which opens in theaters October 11.
