Chris Brown Says ‘X’ Might Be His Last Album

We’ve heard him say it in the past, but could Chris Brown really be considering retirement? According to recent comments he has made on Twitter the R&B superstar is once again fed up with the media and the not-so-pleasant side of fame.

Breezy took to Twitter early Tuesday and made the announcement. “Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album,” he told his followers.

He appears to be frustrated by the constant scrutiny and his negative portrayal in the media. “Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent,” he continued. “I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I’m cool & over it!”

On Sunday, Brown turned himself in to an L.A. jail for his hit-and-run case, a day ahead of schedule. According to TMZ, he was booked and released on his own recognizance within 45 minutes.

His sixth and possibly final album X is due later this summer. He recently shot a video for his Nicki Minaj-assisted single “Love More.”
