Justin Timberlake continued his NYC radio promo following the MTV VMA weekend. In addition to his stop at Hot 97, JT visited ‘The Breakfast Club’ and ‘Sway In The Morning.’
During his chat with Sway, Justin spoke about his amazing performance at the VMAs, being compared to Michael Jackson, his favorite Jackson 5 song, creating the set-list for the ‘Legends of the Summer’ tour with Jay-Z, talking with Kanye West over his comments on “Suit & Tie” and how he respects him more than he really thinks he knows, and hopes they can work together in the future. Justin also shared his description of his 2-part album ‘The 20/20 Experience,’ saying the first half is like a ‘freshman love,’ but the second half is when you meet your young girlfriends older sister and she’s even hotter and sexier, and she’s going to take your innocence.
While talking with Envy, Angela and Charlamagne, JT told the story of not receiving a feature from Jay-Z on ‘FutureSex LoveSounds‘ and how they ended up working together so much on his new album. He spoke about splitting up all the records he recorded into two different albums, and why he picked the songs for each of them. Justin also talked about why his relationship with Timbaland is so strong, the tough task of breaking into Hollywood and much more.
