Following the accidental near drowning of Usher’s oldest son Usher Raymond V, his ex-wife Tameka Foster filed for an emergency court hearing to try and obtain primary custody of their two sons.
The hearing was held this afternoon and the court heard from Tameka, Usher and his Aunt Rena, who was watching Usher V when he jumped in the family pool to grab a toy, and got his hand stuck in a drain.
The court has found that the situation was a nearly tragic accident, and there is not suitable evidence to revoke their previous decision of Usher being the primary guardian of the boys, and that Tameka’s request has been denied.
Usher did show his sympathy for his ex though, going over and consoling her with a hug after the judge announced his decision.
