In celebration of his third album Nothing Was the Same hitting stores today, Drake unveils the music video for his top 10 single “Hold On, We’re Going Home.” Set in Miami in 1985, the action-packed short film features Drake portraying a gangster character, with cameos from A$AP Rocky, actor Johnny Simmons, and Majid Jordan.
While at a club with his friends, he gets a call that his girlfriend has been kidnapped. So he rallies the troops to head out in pursuit of his property. When he discovers that one of his friends is a traitor, Drake doesn’t hesitate to take care of the situation personally.
Once he finds his girl in a warehouse, he and his crew have a showdown, exchanging rounds of gunfire and setting off explosions. But after all the blood has been shed, is he able to save his lady?
