DJ Carisma and Abby De La Rosa returned this week for a double dose of “The Cookie Jar.” Following last weeks all music show, the ladies were joined Monday night with Sevyn Streeter, and Tuesday night with Adrian Marcel.
Sevyn spoke about developing her style while in her past groups (RichGirl, TG4), meeting the Braxton’s when she was 10 years old and performing at the Apollo. Seizing the opportunity to ask Chris Brown if she can write with him, meeting The-Dream for the first time. She revealed the title of her debut EP, ‘Call Me Crazy But…‘ and the reason for the title, she also mentioned people should know that she will easily ‘Taylor Swift that hoe’, which means all the men out there if you scorn Sevyn she will write about you!
Adrian Marcel opened the interview by revealing his next mixtape will be titled “Weak After Next,” which of course is the follow-up to his buzz-worthy “7 Days of Weak.” The Bay Area native spoke about his journey getting into music, the state of R&B, and bringing the ‘blues.’
