R. Kelly is only weeks away from the release of his anticipated new album ‘Black Panties,’ The 13th studio LP from Kellz has been a long time in the making, as he previously pushed it back to release 2012’s ‘Write Me Back.’ But, the R&B king is ready to return to the days that helped make him a legend, with the project that was inspired by the stylings of his classic album ‘12 Play.’
As we previously revealed, for the deluxe album cover Kellz is surrounded and covered by topless beautiful black women, wearing only black panties. If this doesn’t set an obvious tone for the man and this body of work, we don’t know what would. In the other cover, Robert poses as a mysterious phantom of the opera style cello player, while a topless petite looking woman sits on his lap.
The album, which arrives in stores on December 10, includes features from Ludacris (‘Legs Shakin‘), Young Jeezy (‘Spend That‘) and Kelly Rowland (‘All The Way‘), in addition to the 2 Chainz-assisted lead single “My Story.”
