Justin Bieber has been on a smooth and emotional, R&B style with his #MusicMondays series, but for his latest release he picks up the tempo. Following last weeks R. Kelly-assisted bedroom jam “PYD,” the young superstar teams up with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins for the upbeat “Roller Coaster,” on which he sings about the ups and downs of a relationship.
“Roller coaster, roller coaster/ One minute we were up, but the next we were falling down,” he croons over the bouncy beat.
This is honestly a great progression for JB, and Darkchild did his thing with this track. Get into the early morning groove below!
This track has a old school 90’s R&B feel to it with a mix of pop. Sounds like something MJ would have recorded. Definitely the best so far from Music Mondays. May be Justin Bieber’s best so far. The beat is the best part of this track with JB’s vocals coming a close second.
