This weekend has been a very busy one for the H-Town queen. Probably experiencing one of the best points of her career with the overwhelming success of her surprise album, Beyoncé continues to set standards within the music industry.
Last night though, she answered many of the questions we had been wondering including, “Why?” Showing up in New York for a screening of her visual album, the blonde beauty was stunning in an incredible Tom Ford dress with matching thigh-high peep-toe boots. It’s easy to see how she could have “woke up like ‘dis” because she was absolutely flawless!
Touching on the subjects of how difficult it was to keep her album a secret, inspiration on this creative piece of work, what she hopes to have this album mean in the coming years and more. A round of applause is more than deserved, Beyoncé is doing everything how she wants, when she wants to and we love it!
In additional Yoncé news, the southern belle sent a nice message to Target in response to the drama going on with not having her album in stores. Stopping by a local Wal-Mart in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, Mrs. Carter surprised 700 lucky shoppers as she graced the store to pick up a hard copy of her album.
In addition to throwing a slight bit of shade to Target in the process, the mother of one decided to spread some holiday cheer and gift everyone in the store by covering the first $50 of their purchases that night. Totaling a whopping $37,500 of her own money, the star was clearly in the Christmas spirit.
Although both Target and Amazon have decided against carrying the new album, Beyoncé has stocked her album in 7,000 Starbucks franchises across the nation. The same Starbucks that are mostly located in Target.
Welp! If that wasn’t enough to make a statement, we’re not sure what is! On that note: Driver, roll up the partition, please!
