Grammy Hall of Fame, multi-platinum artist and recent recipient of this year’s Legend Award at the Soul Train Awards, Dionne Warwick, is back and we’re loving it! Announcing that her 28th album, Feels So Good, will be released in May 2014, the fifty year industry vet has enlisted some of R&B’s most respected artists for the project.
Calling on acts such as Alicia Keys, Ne-Yo, CeeLo Green, Stevie Wonder and many more, the album will feature new material and classic covers. Serving as her 28th full-length album, Feels So Good is designed to showcase the timeless talent that Dionne possesses as well as today’s brightest stars.
Featuring 10 duet tracks, the album will be the first release on her new label, Damon Elliott Music Group. The label, which was founded by renowned producer and son to Dionne Warwick, Damon Elliott, was created to provide a home for his mother’s new records as well as a growing place for aspiring singer/songwriter’s.
When asked about her collaborating efforts with some of R&B’s most elite, she stated:
“I’m thrilled to release a new project called Feels So Good with some of today’s great singers and songwriters,” says Dionne Warwick. “Throughout my career, I’ve always enjoyed creating music through collaboration and this experience has been no different. The fresh energy with these artists, producers and my new label Damon Elliott Music Group / Caroline is truly inspiring.”
While the album may not be slated to be released until next year, we surely can’t wait to hear what these artists cooked up with their duets!
